a bible a bible

You may not know this, but this version of the bible was the one the pilgrims carried with them to Jamestown in the 1500's. I will quote from the preface "The Geneva Bible once changed the world. In your hands you hold something that is about to change the world---again. Use this bible with care. Use it faithfully with faith. Then watch God once more do above and beyond all that we can ask or imagine". Facts....It was the first bible to be fully translated into the English Language from the original languages...Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. It was the first Bible translation to be printed in easy to read Roman type, rather than the older "Black Face" Gothic text. It was the First Bible to qualify as a study Bible, providing readers with copious notes, annotations, and commentary about the original manuscripts, clarification of ambiguous meanings, and cross references. It was the first Bible to assign chapter demarcation, and to add verse numbers within chapters. It was the first Bible to be printed in small quarto edition, portable and affordable. Every pilgrim family had a Geneva Bible as the convenient center of its daily life. Ever since this book arrived in our home, we have had many revelations, visions, and special things happen to us to prepare us for future events. We have been blessed beyond measure with the Spirit of Revolution and of truth, to change the unchangeable and to try and wake our friends from their deep slumber. May God bless those who are about to participate in the second Revolution, may he help us abide faithfully in His just and Holy commandments, so that we may prepare the way for the Second Coming or our Lord, Jesus Christ, that we may welcome Him with open arms. Amen.
